Research organisations have welcomed announcements to boost UK science in the Queen’s speech but warn that it may not be enough to stem the potential impacts of Brexit.
Outlining the government’s forthcoming priorities in the House of Lords on 14 October, the speech highlighted a commitment to establish the UK as “a world leader in scientific capability and space technology”.
