Corbyn speech promises to fight the corporate elites, but neglects to mention science and research

The leader of the opposition, Jeremy Corbyn, did not directly mention science or research once in his first speech after a general election was confirmed for 12 December.

Corbyn laid out Labour’s vision for post-election Britain, setting out what he characterised as a battle of ordinary people against the elites.
