Government reveals plans to create a new funding agency
The government has put science at the heart of the Queen’s Speech as it announces plans to create a new funding agency and provide “long-term” funding for research.
Outlining the government’s forthcoming priorities in the House of Lords on 14 October, the speech highlighted a commitment to establish the UK as “a world leader in scientific capability and space technology”.
