Boris Johnson doubles down on earlier remarks that UK should be ‘liberated’ from GM regulations

The prime minister has hinted once again that he wants to slash regulation of the bioscience sector after Brexit.

Asked during a televised leader’s debate on 6 December how the country would be better off if it left the EU, Boris Johnson specifically cited the ability to “regulate differently bioscience”.
