UK parliamentarians are debating the deal just one day before Brexit transition period ends
The R&D sector has welcomed the agreement of a post-Brexit trade deal between the UK and the European Union as MPs are set to vote to approve the legislation today.
Announced on Christmas Eve, the deal allows for the UK to participate in the EU’s next R&D programme, Horizon Europe, as well as to continue taking part in the Euratom research and training programme and Copernicus satellite Earth-monitoring system, among other things.
