Hardy ‘at a loss to understand’ how joining EU funding scheme would not be desirable
Labour’s universities spokeswoman Emma Hardy has said the government must make up any financial losses that the sector faces if the country does not join the European Union’s next R&D scheme.
With the government still refusing to guarantee UK membership of the forthcoming EU Horizon Europe programme, Hardy has said that this uncertainty “must be resolved”.
