R&D roadmap promises Discovery Fund offering ‘sizeable grants over long periods of time’
The government has promised to implement “ambitious alternatives” to Horizon Europe “as quickly as possible” from January 2021 if the UK fails to associate to the European Union’s R&D framework programme.
The announcement appeared in the R&D roadmap on 1 July, which set out the government’s vision of becoming a world-leading science superpower.
