Government scientists explain need for strict Covid-19 regulations for everyone, while others want targeted measures
The government must urgently reconsider its approach to tackling Covid-19 in the UK, some scientists have warned ahead of today’s Downing Street briefing.
In an open letter to prime minister Boris Johnson, a group of academics describes the existing policy path as “inconsistent with the known risk profile of Covid-19”.
