Government confirms further delay to resumption of face-to-face teaching in latest university guidance
Universities should continue teaching most courses remotely until 8 March at the earliest, the Department for Education has confirmed.
Any students and staff who are on campus have been told to take part in twice weekly testing on offer in an attempt to identify asymptomatic cases and curtail transmission of Covid-19. Currently, only students on courses considered “critical”—including medical, clinical and healthcare subjects—should be receiving face-to-face teaching, the DfE guidance states.
