Former prime minister says Britain has potential to be at the forefront of technological innovation
Brexit should be a “catalyst” to boost technology and innovation in the UK, former Labour prime minister Tony Blair has said.
Despite his strong misgivings about Brexit, the former politician and executive chairman of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change said “we should make a virtue of necessity and see in Brexit’s consequences, an opportunity and an obligation to renew our country and its place in the world”.
