Pilot service aims to offer ‘swift’ ethics review of trials for non-Covid medicines
The Health Research Authority has launched a new fast-track service for pharmaceutical companies and research organisations seeking to start clinical trials for non-Covid medicines in the UK.
The new service, which is set to run in pilot form until March, will offer “swift” ethics review of global trials and first-in-human studies on medicines for conditions such as heart disease and diabetes, the public health body announced on 5 January.
