Chancellor and business secretary also promise new strategies on innovation, net zero, hydrogen and space
The government says it is reviewing the grand challenges and missions of its industrial strategy as part of its new Plan for Growth.
In an open letter to UK businesses, chancellor Rishi Sunak and business secretary Kwasi Kwarteng said the recently published plan “builds on the best of the industrial strategy from 2017 and makes the most of our strengths right across the economy”.
