UK scientists urged to take full advantage of Horizon association

Message comes as MEPs sign off on post-Brexit EU-UK trade and cooperation agreement

The European Commission’s deputy director-general for research and innovation has urged UK scientists to take “full advantage” of association to the European Union’s €95 billion R&D programme, Horizon Europe.

Signe Ratso said the “times of uncertainty” were now over after MEPs formally signed off on the post-Brexit EU-UK trade and cooperation agreement, through which the UK will associate to Horizon Europe.
