Agreement comes amid rising concerns over China’s growing science and technology prowess

UK prime minister Boris Johnson and the United States president Joe Biden have agreed to strengthen ties in science and technology between the two nations.

The partnership, which was agreed during Biden’s visit to Cornwall for the G7 summit this week, covers a number of areas including research and innovation, and ensuring technology is used “as a force for good”.
