David King’s climate group to represent 10 countries and advocate for “urgent, large-scale action”
David King, head of the UK’s self-appointed Independent Sage committee of scientific experts on Covid-19, has announced he will launch another group to advise policymakers, this time on climate change.
“I believe we have a truly superb group of scientists, one that I am looking forward to working with,” said King in a 20 June Twitter post, announcing the newly minted 14-member Climate Crisis Advisory Group.
