Science minister reveals his “anger” over lockdown parties at No 10, labelling them “damaging”
Science minister George Freeman has waded into a row over Downing Street parties alleged to have taken place during Covid lockdowns, calling for the prime minister and his cabinet to “restore trust” following the “damaging” revelations.
Writing on Twitter, Freeman was commenting on a Times report about his recent letter to a constituent, in which he reportedly wrote he was “shocked and flabbergasted” by revelations of the parties, and that they had caused “serious damage” to public trust in government.
