Keir Starmer wants to prioritise skills and green growth

New Industrial Strategy Council would apply “creative brilliance of our scientists and universities” to industry

Labour Party leader Keir Starmer has told business leaders he wants a Labour government focused on “economic stability, higher skills and green growth”.

To do so, his government would partner with business on investing in new technology and skills training they need, he told the Confederation of British Industry conference on 22 November.
