Network of technology and innovation centres receives 35 per cent budget uplift in autumn statement

Government funding for the UK’s Catapult centres is set to increase by more than a third, under plans set out in yesterday’s autumn statement.

The network of technology and innovation centres will receive £1.6 billion over the next five-year funding cycle, representing a 35 per cent uplift on the previous settlement, according to Treasury documents.
