European Research Council grant winners raise concerns about terms and conditions of replacement funding

UK-based winners of prestigious European Research Council grants have told Research Professional News they are unconvinced by the government’s offer of replacement funding, leading some of them to explore moving their grants abroad.

Recent ERC winners based in the UK have been told they have just two months to move their grants to an eligible European Union institution given that the UK is still not associated to the EU R&D programmes.
