
Investment includes funding for hydrogen technologies, nuclear projects and research into carbon capture
The UK government has confirmed a £375 million package to fund the research, development and deployment of clean, low-cost energy technologies following the publication of its energy security strategy.
The investment, some of which was trailed last year, includes a £240 million Net Zero Hydrogen Fund for low-carbon hydrogen production projects, with the aim of awarding funding from the end of 2022.
