UK postponed EU dispute proceedings after Queen’s death, with meeting pushed back
Crunch talks on UK participation in Horizon Europe have been postponed to 22 September following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Research Professional News can reveal.
Formal consultations demanded by the UK last month are intended to break the 20-month deadlock over access to the EU’s research programmes, namely the €95.5 billion (£82.5bn) Horizon Europe R&D programme, the Earth observation programme Copernicus and the nuclear research programme Euratom.
