Engineer made chief scientific adviser at levelling up department

Cambridge academic Richard Prager to support science and engineering profession in department

Cambridge engineering professor Richard Prager has been appointed chief scientific adviser at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities.

In his new role, Prager will support the science and engineering profession in the department, offer advice on initiatives and work with other chief scientific advisers (CSAs) across government to ensure work is informed by appropriate data and scientific principles.
