Sector welcomes promise of more stability but questions possibility of 10-year budget

Labour’s promise of a longer-term budget and stability for R&D has received a cautious welcome from the sector.

Speaking at the party’s annual conference last week, shadow science secretary Peter Kyle said a Labour government would “create certainty” with 10-year R&D budgets.
