A top priority is to create evidence base showing how much its sectors are worth

The Department for Culture, Media and Sport has revealed its new research priorities.

In a document outlining its areas of research interest, released on 16 March, DCMS said a “top priority” would be to show how much culture, media and sport are worth socially and economically. The document highlights key research questions that will be used to inform policy and decision-making.
