
Imperial and Strathclyde academics appointed Rishi Sunak’s advisers on engineering biology, creative industries and space
Carol Propper and Keith Ridgway have been appointed to the UK prime minister’s Council for Science and Technology, which advises on strategic science and technology policy issues that cut across the responsibilities of government departments.
Propper is a professor of economics at Imperial College Business School, focusing on financial and non-financial healthcare incentives, and Ridgway is a senior executive of manufacturing at the University of Strathclyde.
