Former science minister says he followed rules at all times with carbon capture report
Former minister Chris Skidmore started an £80,000 consulting job for a carbon-capture company just over a week before the release of a report in which he urged the government to set a plan for investment in such technology.
The Conservative MP took the role on 3 January and registered it with authorities on 7 February—25 days after the report was released on 13 January.
