PM seeks to reassure scientists after being warned of “no rational justification” for plan B
The prime minister Rishi Sunak has stated his preference for joining the EU’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme “on the basis of a good deal” for researchers and taxpayers.
The recent Windsor Framework breakthrough in EU-UK relations opened the door to the UK becoming associated to Horizon Europe after the UK has been frozen out for over two years.
