Vice-chancellors in Wales say UK funding for R&D projects “pales in comparison” with EU support
Welsh universities have said that R&D funding has plummeted following the UK’s departure from the EU.
The Welsh R&D sector has been hit particularly hard by the loss of EU structural funds, which supported numerous university-related projects.
