Government commits £121 million to deliver on recommendations from report

Urgent action is needed to reverse a decline in clinical trial activity in the UK, according to a review whose recommendations have triggered a £121 million commitment to tackle the issue.

The government commissioned former innovation minister James O’Shaughnessy to undertake the review because the UK has been falling behind in its commercial clinical trials activity in recent years.
