Christian Ehler says UK push to reduce fee to join EU programme is undermining trust

The UK government has been urged by a leading MEP to “stop the petty political games” in ongoing negotiations over joining the EU’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.

“It is really time for the UK government to face up to reality,” Christian Ehler told Research Professional News, calling the government’s negotiating position “very problematic”.
