R&D will play role in Labour’s ambition to overhaul UK’s energy industry, says party leader

Keir Starmer has said he will “throw everything”, including R&D, at Labour’s clean energy ambitions if he becomes the next prime minister.

The Labour leader launched the party’s national mission on clean energy during a speech in Scotland today and outlined its goal for the UK to have fully clean electricity by 2030.
