Agreement reached on dispute over pay and threatened job losses affecting research bodies
The Prospect trade union has ended industrial action that led to walkouts of staff at national research funder UK Research and Innovation and other science-related agencies.
Hundreds of staff members from organisations including UKRI, the Diamond Light Source and the UK Health Security Agency took to picket lines on 15 March amid disputes over pay, the threat of job losses and a proposed cut to redundancy terms.
