UK confirms shake-up of AI advisory structures

Government to draw on “wider group of advisers”, as term of AI Council members ends

The UK government has confirmed changes to its AI advisory structures, as members of its AI Council come to the end of their three-year term.

The AI Council was established in 2019 with the aim of advising the government on AI policy with regard to national security, defence, data ethics, skills and regulation.
