Research Professional News revisits party’s promises from last general election for clues about forthcoming one

The Labour Party has recently been seen as a favourite to win the next general election, with calls from the research sector for the party to clarify its policy plans for R&D.

Its upcoming conference in October may provide more clarity on its plans, many of which seem not to have changed much since the last general election in 2019, when the party had a different leader, Jeremy Corbyn.
