Funding adds to £300m already committed through to 2027 for cross-border fund
The UK government has committed “over £200 million in additional funding” to the Peace Plus cross-border programme for the island of Ireland between now and 2027.
The extra funding, announced after a meeting of the UK-EU Withdrawal Agreement Joint Committee on 17 December, is on top of the existing commitment by the government to provide £300 million to the programme.
