Lamb: Step back from the brink on post-Brexit science

UK’s participation in Horizon Europe should not be contentious, says chair of Commons science committee

Norman Lamb, chair of the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee, has said he is hopeful that the UK will eventually gain full access to the 2021-27 European Union research programme Horizon Europe, “whatever the price”.

“This should not be a contentious issue,” he told Science Business. “There’s no-one manning the barricades, saying we need to end collaboration in science.”
