Progress on diversity in Stem has been limited, MPs find

      

Commons S&T committee says Stem still has a diversity problem and calls for targeted interventions

The R&D sector must take action that “truly moves the dial” on raising diversity and inclusion in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, MPs have said.

According to the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee, the government, national funder UK Research and Innovation, and the wider sector have led and participated in “many worthy inquiries, reports and initiatives” to boost diversity, but “progress has been limited at best”.
