Scottish Natural Heritage wants more diverse board

Ian Ross, head of Scottish Natural Heritage, has said that the agency is trying hard to recruit more women onto its board.

In an article published on the website of the Herald Scotland on 5 January, Ross is reported as saying that the government-funded organisation only has one woman on its eight-strong board.

He is quoted as saying that he would feel “uncomfortable and disappointed” if this figure has not increased by April.
