Diversity and growth top Royal Society of Edinburgh agenda

The Royal Society of Edinburgh says it plans to seek increased funding and a more diverse fellowship in the next five years.

The organisation released its strategy for 2016-21 on 31 October, including a development programme to grow its income streams from industry, grant-giving charities and individual donations and legacies.

“We will clearly articulate the added value that the Royal Society of Edinburgh is uniquely placed to generate for Scotland and report regularly on its impact,” the society said.
