Scotland to invest £200m in agriculture and environment R&D

Over 150 projects will receive funding over the next five years, says Scottish government

The Scottish government today announced plans to invest more than £200 million in agriculture and environment research.

First minister Nicola Sturgeon said the support confirms her government’s determination to “ensure that Scotland continues to make an important contribution to research” in the two areas.
