SNP aims to bring back EU study opportunities

Scottish party accuses rivals of letting down young people and pledges to prioritise AI research

The Scottish National Party has promised to restore the opportunities for young Scots to live and study in Europe that were lost with the UK’s exit from the EU.

In a manifesto published on 19 June ahead of the UK general election on 4 July, the SNP accuses the two main parties in Westminster of letting down the country’s youth by refusing to maintain those links with the EU.
