New addition to Commons environment committee

Cathy Jamieson, Labour MP for Kilmarnock and Loudoun, has been appointed to the House of Commons Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee.

Jamieson, who has served as a minister for both justice and education in Scotland, will replace Bill Esterson, Labour MP for Sefton Central, who has been discharged from the committee.
