Beddington discusses computer trading with finance experts

The government’s chief scientific adviser, John Beddington, has met finance experts to discuss technological advances in computer trading.

The 18 July meeting was called to investigate how technological progress in computer trading could affect financial markets and whether it puts investors and businesses at risk.
