The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has appointed Pete Borriello as chief executive of its executive agency, the Veterinary Medicines Directorate.
Borriello has previously been the chief executive of the Veterinary Laboratories Agency and a director at the Health Protection Agency.
