Prosecutors to be trained in fighting copyright crime

The Intellectual property office has teamed up with the Crown Prosecution Service to train over 350 prosecutors in building cases against counterfeiters and pirates.

The effort follows the publication of the Hargreaves review of intellectual property and growth on 18 May, which called for a more “integrated approach with partners to enforce IP rights”.
