UK pushes for global climate deal

In the run-up to the UN Climate Conference in Durban, South Africa, in December, the British ambassador to South Korea has called for a “whole-world solution” to tackling climate change.

Speaking at the UN Model Conference on Climate Change at Korea University on 10 August, Martin Uden said that although bilateral actions were useful, the world needed a global legally binding deal covering all major emitters.
