BIS looks for new adviser

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills is advertising for a new chief scientific adviser to replace Brian Collins.

Collins, an astrophysicist and professor of information systems at Cranfield University, was appointed as the first occupant of the position at BIS in June 2008 and came to the end of his three-year contract earlier this year.
