A junior foreign and commonwealth office minister, Jeremy Browne, and New Zealand’s science minister Wayne Mapp, signed an agreement on 12 September aimed at creating closer ties between the two countries in research and innovation.
The New Zealand-United Kingdom Science and Innovation Working Group will meet four times over the next year and report back to their respective ministers in September 2012.
