IP office seeks evidence on design rights

The Intellectual Property Office has launched a call for evidence on how the intellectual property system in the UK can best support the needs of the design industry.

Following a recommendation in the Hargreaves review on intellectual property in May, says the office, the government has committed to gaining a “better understanding of whether the design rights system in the UK is geared to the needs of business”.
