We’ve learned from the Pfizer Sandwich closure, says Willetts

Following a series of closures and cutbacks in the UK by big pharmaceutical firms in the last couple of years, there is now a “solid base” of pharma companies in the country, science minister David Willetts has said.

Willetts was giving a speech in London on 13 December about the government’s strategy for life sciences, a year on from publication of the government’s life sciences strategy.
